Osmo is an AI agent that helps wet lab scientists run computational biology workflows. It accepts plain English descriptions of experiments, resolves compound identifiers, routes tasks to specialized scientific models, and returns results in plain English.
Osmo is a research assistance tool. It is not a substitute for professional scientific judgment. All results should be interpreted by qualified scientists before being used to make research or clinical decisions.
You agree to use Osmo only for lawful scientific research purposes. You agree not to:
Cloud plans: When you submit an experiment description, your input is sent to specialized AI models for computation. These models do not train on your data. Ordos does not store your scientific data after computation is complete. Only your account information, authentication credentials, and token usage counts are retained.
On-premise deployment: When Osmo is deployed on your own infrastructure, all computation occurs locally. No scientific data leaves your environment. Ordos has no access to any data processed in an on-premise deployment.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit through Osmo complies with applicable laws, institutional policies, and any data sharing agreements that govern your research.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.
Osmo is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you authorize Ordos to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge in question. Ordos reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
Osmo and all associated software, design, and content are owned by Ordos or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Your experimental data and research inputs remain yours. By submitting data to Osmo, you grant Ordos a limited, temporary license to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when processing is complete.
Osmo is provided as is and as available. Ordos makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any results produced by Osmo. Computational biology predictions are probabilistic and should be treated as one input among many in a scientific process.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ordos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Osmo, including but not limited to research decisions made based on Osmo outputs. Ordos's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Osmo shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Ordos reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to Osmo at any time if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Ordos may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application. Continued use of Osmo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Osmo shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
For any questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
